Ronn Kakazu
5th and 6th Grade Teacher
I am a proud graduate of Rogers School (Class of 1992). I'll be entering my fourth year of teaching at RAS, and my time here continues to be an energizing and rewarding experience. The students, parents, and staff are awesome to work with, and I continually see God's hand at work.
For the past 24 years, I've taught in Washington, New York, California, and an island called Yap. After all these years, I still really love teaching. I also enjoy spending time with my family, playing ukulele, running, listening to podcasts, and coming up with groan-inducing puns.
In my classroom, students engage in discussion, participate in projects, and apply Scripture to their lives. This year I'm looking forward to building on past experience and discovering what new things God has planned for our class community!
