Jill MacKenzie

Principal

I grew up in Battle Ground, Washington, and have been passionate about education since beginning my teaching career in 2001, after graduating from Walla Walla University. Before becoming principal at Rogers Adventist School, I served as both a teacher and administrator in the Vancouver Public Schools. This is my second year leading at Rogers, and I feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a dedicated and faith-filled school community.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Richard MacKenzie, and together we have four amazing children: Daisy, Liliana, Paxton, and Raymond. Daisy will soon be graduating from Walla Walla University, Liliana is a proud graduate of Walla Walla Valley Academy (WWVA), and Paxton and Raymond are currently students there.

Outside of school, I enjoy quiet mornings in worship, spending time with my family and dogs, reading, and crafting. I believe the heart of Rogers is its people. There’s no better school community.

The staff here love kids, love Jesus, and love teaching — it’s a combination for success.
