Bambi Courtad
5th and 6th Grade Teacher
I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach 5th and 6th grade here at Rogers Adventist School. This is my first year at Rogers. My husband and I recently moved here from Arizona, where I taught K–6 STEM for nine years in the public school system.
About me: I was born and raised in north central Indiana. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and married shortly after graduation. In our mid-twenties, while living in Flagstaff, Arizona, we joined the Adventist Church. God has been faithful in leading our family ever since. We are blessed with three young adult children—two who graduated from Walla Walla University and our youngest, who is currently a junior there.
When I’m not in the classroom, I love cooking, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors. My husband and I are learning to embrace this new season of life as empty nesters, but we treasure every chance we get to spend time with our three kids.
I feel truly blessed to be part of this community, and I look forward to seeing how God will guide both the learning and the character growth of my students throughout this school year.
