Rogers Adventist School has some amazing students - and you'll know a Rogers' kid when you see one because they have something special: a smile, a kind word, a thirst for knowledge, a love for Jesus.
Meet Sabrina, a 2nd grader in Mrs. Browning's classroom.
Q: What’s the best thing about being an 8 year old?
A: Sometimes I get to stay up later than my little brother and sister, which is very fun!
Q: What do you usually do at recess?
A: I like to play "kitties" with Emma. We pretend that we're cats. I'm usually a cheetah.
Q: What has been your favorite activity or project this year in school?
A: Going fishing was really fun. I actually caught a fish and that was pretty cool!
Q: What is your favorite book?
A: Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew - it's a mystery.
Q: If you could only eat one thing for a whole week, what would you choose?
A: Definitely doughnuts! I like all doughnuts!
Q: What’s a food you can’t stand?
A: Mushrooms. My mom makes me eat them sometimes and sometimes they don't taste too bad, but I still don't like them.
Q: What games do you like to play?
A: I like playing Candy Land, usually with my brother, mom, and sister. My sister is little and she doesn't really know how to play, but she tries.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do with family?
A: We make crafts and play video games. My favorite video game is Super Mario Odyssey.
Q: Is there something you would like to do, or a place you would like to go in the next year?
A: Disneyland! I'm pretty sure that if my mom and dad talk it over, we might be able to go.
Q: What’s something you learned this year?
A: I've gotten much better at the violin. I'm almost done with book 1!
