Student Profile - Landon

Rogers Adventist School has some amazing students - and you'll know a Rogers' kid when you see one because they have something special: a smile, a kind word, a thirst for knowledge, a love for Jesus.

Meet Landon, a 4th grader in Mrs. Veverka's classroom.

  1. Q: What’s the best thing about being a 10 year old?

  2. A: I'm double digits, so that's cool. Also, I've learned a lot, but I still have more to learn:)

  4. Q: What do you usually do at recess?

  5. A: We play "lightening" which is a basketball game like "bump" but with different rules.

  7. Q: What has been your favorite activity or project this year in school?

  8. A: I really like math. I've been doing math for many years and so I like to help other students.

  10. Q: What is your favorite book?

  11. A: "Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein.

  13. Q: If you could only eat one thing for a whole week, what would you choose?

  14. A: My mom's baked potato soup

  16. Q: What’s a food you can’t stand?

  22. Q: What is your favorite thing to do with family?

  23. A: We go for lots of walks or bike rides together. We like to ride around Whitman College.

  25. Q: Is there something you would like to do, or a place you would like to go in the next year?

  26. A: Wisconsin. My aunt, uncle, and cousins live there. I'd like to visit them, but also the cheese factory. I like all cheese!

  28. Q: What’s something you hope you’ll learn this year?

  29. A: More stuff about electricity and electrodes. That's what I'm working on for my science fair project and it's really cool!
