Summer 2017

The adventure ended, the treasures found, our nemeses given up and gone away the brave explorers of first and second return home for a well deserved respite. Mississippi Smith was rumored to have taken up flight lessons, Dr. Kappa spent much of her time with sudoku and crossword puzzles, Giuseppi purchased dozens of model planes to construct, Jacques tended to his aquarium, and old Napsack Ned was last seen hiking out in the Outback. The whole team missed the students but they couldn't be sad for they knew new adventures awaited the children next year. In fact, the only adventurer who didn't take a break was Professor when. He was last seen on the roof of the school practicing katas. Why would he be doing that?

Time will tell.

Blessed summer everyone. I leave you with our final memory verse:

“Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.
